Job Description

NSA Overview The professionals at the National Security Agency (NSA) have one common goal: to protect our nation. The mission requires a strong offense and a steadfast defense. The offense collects, processes and disseminates intelligence information derived from foreign signals for intelligence and counterintelligence purposes. The defense prevents adversaries from gaining access to sensitive classified national security information. As a Crypto Material Controller you will: Plan, develop, modify, implement, and operate systems which identify, control, process, store, distribute and assure accountability of cryptologic equipment and material or jobs which are responsible for the management and control of documents for a major organization of the Agency.

Cryptographic Operations personnel at the National Security Agency(NSA) are a viable asset to our agency. Their support of the mission spans from developing and operating various systems, maintaining equipment, providing quality and reliable products to customers and resolving issues with printing/production technology and flow processes.

Salary Range: $49,157 - $63,906 (Entry/Developmental) *The qualifications listed are the minimum acceptable to be considered for the position. Salary offers are based on candidates' education level and years of experience relevant to the position and also take into account information provided by the hiring manager/organization regarding the work level for the position. Entry is with a high school diploma or GED and no experience. Experience in basic computer skills (e.g., e-mail, web browsers, word processors and presentation graphics) is desired. Working in a warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics field is preferred. Salary Range: $60,129 - $78,167 (Full Performance) *The qualifications listed are the minimum acceptable to be considered for the position. Salary offers are based on candidates' education level and years of experience relevant to the position and also take into account information provided by the hiring manager/organization regarding the work level for the position. Entry is with a high school diploma or GED plus 4 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree plus 2 years of relevant experience. Degree in any field is acceptable. Relevant experience must include working in a warehouse, manufacturing or logistics field, working in an office environment, customer service, and/or project planning. Salary Range: $72,750 - $134,798 (Senior) *The qualifications listed are the minimum acceptable to be considered for the position. Salary offers are based on candidates' education level and years of experience relevant to the position and also take into account information provided by the hiring manager/organization regarding the work level for the position. Entry is with a high school diploma or GED plus 6 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree plus 4 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of relevant experience. Degree in any field is acceptable. Relevant experience must include working in a warehouse, manufacturing or logistics field, working in an office environment, customer service, and/or project planning.

Description of Skills - A comprehensive understanding of national and NSA COR level policies. - Reviewing practices and procedures to ensure compliance with policy. - Ensuring the overall control and accountability of COMSEC material charged to NSA COMSEC Accounts - Represent the Agency in interactions with outside customers, DoD, and foreign partners. - Traveling, both locally and TDY, to the COMSEC Account to perform the audit - Requires daily interaction with our customers via e-mail and telephone calls. - Must compose written correspondence before and after the audit. - View computer screen continuously for two hours or more.

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday.
