NSA Overview The professionals at the National Security Agency (NSA) have one common goal - to protect our nation. The mission requires a strong offense and a steadfast defense. The offense collects, processes and disseminates intelligence information derived from foreign signals for intelligence and counterintelligence purposes. The defense prevents adversaries from gaining access to sensitive classified national security information. Description of Position The National Security Agency is currently seeking highly motivated Project Managers to join its Facilities Project Management Group in Denver, Colorado; Kunia, Hawaii; and Anchorage, Alaska. The project manager will provide "cradle to grave" project management oversight for all related activities that support the completion of a specified project effort. The project manager will need to make quick decisions, be able to work independently in a fast paced, challenging environment and be able to lead the project team through the project execution process. This will include, but not limited to, scope development; design reviews; some construction inspection; coordination of systems and coordination of the installation of the communications systems; final walkout and acceptance of the project; and closing out the project. The PM shall have the total financial responsibility for all support activities and insure that each respective activity maintains the schedule plan for each project effort. The PM will also maintain accurate electronic records and will be responsible for the accuracy of the project data and for the entire cost accounting of the project.

If qualifying with a high school diploma, participation in a relevant Vocational/Technical program is preferred. Relevant experience must be in a facilities or construction related field. Construction management experience and a Building Owners and Managers Institute (BOMI) certification is preferred. Relevant experience must be in a facilities or construction related field, and include project management (e.g., planning, resource management, scheduling, tracking/oversight, and quality assurance), preferably in a subject matter related to the position in which the candidate is applying. PMP, CAPM, and/or DAWIA certifications are preferred. Building Owners and Managers Institute (BOMI) certification is preferred.
