NSA Overview The professionals at the National Security Agency (NSA) have one common goal: to protect our nation. The mission requires a strong offense and a steadfast defense. The offense collects, processes and disseminates intelligence information derived from foreign signals for intelligence and counterintelligence purposes. The defense prevents adversaries from gaining access to sensitive classified national security information. Project Directors supply timely, accurate, and relevant information to assist senior leadership, customers, and/or management in making decisions. They contribute to the management of a project in technical, development, business, and operational functional organizations. Description of the Position Project Directors responsibilities may include: - Developing and overseeing project plans - Performing resource management - Developing and tracking schedules - Monitoring performance goals and mitigating risks - Providing quality assurance oversight - Leading/mentoring junior staff - Creating and sustaining a strong customer focus - Collaborating with others to accomplish goals - Presenting project status and informational briefs

Salary Range: $48,670 - $77,396 (Entry/Developmental)- Maryland Salary Range: $43,556 - $69,263 (Entry/Developmental)- Texas *The qualifications listed are the minimum acceptable to be considered for the position. A high school diploma or GED plus 13 years of relevant experience or an Associate's degree plus 11 years of relevant experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position. Degree in any area is acceptable. Relevant experience must be in project management (e.g., planning, resource management, scheduling, and tracking/oversight) in a subject matter related to the position in which the candidate is applying. Experience in organizational leadership and PMP and/or DAWIA certifications are preferred.

This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday, with basic 8hr/day work requirements between 0600 to 1800 hrs (flexible).
