As a Budget Analyst at the NSA, you will be instrumental in building and managing resources for multiple years and producing financial reports.
Applicants with prior DoD/IC experience and Program Build experience to include interpreting fiscal guidance from ODNI and OMB are preferred. For entry level applicants, experience or knowledge of HR and/or manpower is a plus.
Budget Analysts cover a variety of responsibilities that include, but are not limited to:
- Planning, programming, budgeting and execution process, the congressional budgetary processes, and DoD/IC-specific budget practices
- Analyzing financial, performance, and requirements data for business decision making
- Using financial principles to identify trends in data
- Justifying the resources (manpower and funding) to support the strategic plans of the President, DoD, Intelligence Community, and the NSA
